History
National Tradeshow Reporter was started three years ago by Mr Lorne Sharfe as a guide to conventions and convention related industries around the world. Knowing that the quality of any guide is determined by the accuracy of its information, Mr Sharfe dedicated the first few years of his project to information gathering. Hiring a team of research assistants, Mr Sharfe set up the inaugural form of National Tradeshow Reporter by designing the shape the core database would take. After two years of diligent searching, the research was almost complete. Talented programmers and graphic artists were hired to give National Tradeshow Reporter an easy to use and attractive front end, as well as a powerful search utility behind the scenes.

Today National Tradeshow Reporter is the premiere convention related database and search utility on the Web. Our database catalogues hundreds of facilities, events and resources, with the number growing daily. Our customer service is one of the best in the convention industry, whether our clients need to search or to add convention services. Along with our National Tradeshow Reporter newsletter we are proud to have been the one-stop web site for all North America's convention needs since 2002. Mr Lorne Sharfe and Ms Aliza Sharfe are analysts and editorial contributors.

Our Philosophy
We at National Tradeshow Reporter are dedicated to providing only the most up-to-date and accurate convention and convention-related information possible. We believe that there is a significant lack of on-line support for the global convention industry, and that there should be significant Internet support for the convention industry. This will allow businesses from around the world to increase necessary information about their fields, as well as markedly increase their potential profit margins. Only by getting information out there, into the hands of prospective conventioneers, can members of the convention industry hope to ensure continued support of their events, facilities and resources.
